ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welbeing (Rospotrebnadzor) and the Ministry of Health and Population of the Republic of the Congo will organize on April 22-23, 2026 in Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo) The Second Russian-African International Conference on Combating Infectious Diseases.
​The conference will be held in a hybrid format and will bring together more than 100 participants from 17 African countries, Russia, as well as international organizations.

The main discussion during the event will focus on issues related to the development of international cooperation in the areas of prevention and preparedness to respond to modern biological threats, strengthening laboratory infrastructure to combat epidemics, current infectious diseases in the African region, experience in eliminating outbreaks and organizing anti-epidemic measures.

In addition, a round table «Russian developments in the field of biosafety for partner countries» is planned to be held during the Conference, as well as a demonstration of Russian-made mobile laboratories.

The Second Russian-African International Conference on Combating Infectious Diseases will strengthen the national capacity of the participating countries to respond to biological threats and will contribute to the development of international cooperation in the field of combating infectious diseases.
